Yes! The Governor’s Council on Substance Use Disorder (GCSUD, formerly GCADA), is offering scholarships to active municipal alliance members to attend the NJPN 2024 Annual Conference! The scholarship will cover the registration fee for Friday, May 17, 2024. A separate paid registration form must be submitted to attend Thursday, May 16, 2024. Scholarship recipients must commit to attending the NJPN 2024 Annual Conference in-person at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, NJ.

The 2024 NJPN Annual Conference is currently sold out, meaning we won't be able to offer onsite registrations this year. Absolutely! If you have registered for the event and are no longer able to attend, you may transfer your paid registration to another person. Substitutions are permitted at any time at no additional cost, however, requests for substitutions must be received via email. Prior to May 10, 2024: Please email the name of the original registrant and the name of the person substituting to Susanna@njpn.org and include “2024 Conference Substitution” in the subject line. After May 10, 2024: Advance substitutions will no longer be accepted at this time, but substitutions can be made on-site at Guest Services. Please bring a copy of the original registration confirmation email to present at Guest Services the day of the Conference.

NJPN makes financial obligations based on the number of registrants for the Conference, therefore, a refund cannot be provided after April 15, 2024 – unless the event is cancelled. Requests for cancellation must be received via email for processing. Please email all cancellation requests to Susanna@njpn.org and include “2024 Conference Cancellation” in the subject line. All requests for cancellation with full refund will be accepted through April 15,2024, after which all cancellations/no-shows will be charged the full registration fee. You may substitute another individual for your paid registration at any time (See Transfer FAQ)

After four consecutive years hosting NJ's largest addiction conference virtually, we are thrilled to return to an in-person format at the Atlantic City Convention Center, located at 1 Convention Blvd, Atlantic City, NJ, 08401.

The Atlantic City Conference Center can be reached through multiple modes of public transportation: Atlantic City Airport – ~12 miles/20 minutes from ACCC Philadelphia Airport – ~65 miles/60 minutes from ACCC Atlantic City Rail Line (NJ Transit) – arrives at ACCC

Parking will be validated for registered Conference attendees at the Atlantic City Convention Center garage only. Parking validation will be available throughout the entire Conference. Attendees staying overnight at the Sheraton Hotel under the NJPN room block will have self-parking fees validated by NJPN. Valet parking fees must be paid by hotel guest at the Sheraton. (See Hotel FAQ for room block information) Parking at other locations cannot be validated at the Conference.

Yes! Accessible Parking is available at the Atlantic City Convention Center parking garage. To access this area, it is required that your valid handicap access tag or license plates are visibly displayed on your vehicle at all times while parked in this designated area. Please indicate your need for accessible parking on the registration form to ensure there will be space provided for you.

Yes! The Sheraton Atlantic City is connected to the Atlantic City Convention Center. NJPN has worked with the Sheraton hotel to offer attendees a discounted room rate of $119 plus tax. Please call* 1-888-627-7212 and reference “NJPN 2024,” “NJ Prevention Network,” or “Prevention Network” to take advantage of the discounted rate. All reservations must be made prior to April 15, 2024. *Online reservations will not be able to accommodate the discounted rate.

There is no coat check at the Atlantic City Convention Center. The room temperatures may vary from warm to quite chilly, so dressing in layers or keeping your coat handy will keep you comfortable throughout the day.

Please join us at the Conference Reception on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 4pm to 6pm. The Conference Reception is a warm, informal gathering for attendees to network and relax. Light refreshments and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. Continental breakfast, hot lunch, and afternoon snacks will be available on Friday, May 17, 2024. Hot lunch options include: Chicken (gluten-free) Pasta (meatless/vegetarian) Vegan Kosher/Halal* *Please note, this is a frozen entrée as the Atlantic City Convention Center is not a kosher/halal kitchen. If none of the above options meet your dietary restrictions, please consider bringing your own meal.

CEUs are earned by completing the workshop requirements of checking in and out to each workshop session, attending workshops in their entirety, and completing the workshop evaluation survey at the end of each session. Earned certificates will be stored in the conference app for viewing/downloading at any time. Please allow up to 48 hours for certificates to appear in your app profile.

Yes! All conference attendees will be issued a generic Certificate of Attendance at the end of each day.

Prior to the event, you will receive a confirmation email which will include a QR code for easy check-in to access the day’s event. You may print this confirmation email and bring with you, or you may access this QR code through the mobile app (see Download FAQ). Upon arrival at the Atlantic City Convention Center, please visit any of the registration booths on the 2nd floor in front of Hall A to check-in and receive your badge. This badge must be worn at all times to gain access to the Conference. Please note, all registrations are subject to the organizers' review and approval.

Yes, you will have access to numerous learning and networking opportunities through keynote sessions, workshops, and exhibitor booths. Attendees can share their business profile with speakers, exhibitors, and other attendees during the event. There are several breaks throughout the conference designated for networking and connecting with each other.

Your 2024 NJPN Annual Conference badge will include a printed QR code for you to scan in and out of each workshop session you attend during the event. Workshop Monitors will be stationed at the entrance of each workshop to scan your badge to ensure attendance has been captured to earn credit. You must scan your badge to check in and out of each workshop to earn credit.

At the end of each workshop session, a survey will appear on the vFairs app for you to complete as part of the workshop requirements to earn credit for the session. There is opportunity to go back to the workshop survey and complete later if you are not able to do so at the end of the workshop session. The Conference Overall Survey will appear at the end of each day for you to complete for another chance to earn points for the Leaderboard.

The Atlantic City Convention Center accessibility features include: elevators to all levels; exterior ramps for wheelchair access; braille signage in elevators and meeting rooms; and accessible restrooms with appropriate fixtures.
