3-hour Renewal Mandatory Legal Standards
The 3-Hour Renewal Mandatory Legal Standards training is for all DMHAS LCADCs and CADCs who previously completed the 6-hour course in their initial renewal cycle and need to satisfy the bi-annual requirement established by the Division of Consumer Affairs for all NJ licensed and certified counselors.
NJPN conducts this mandatory renewal training both virtually through Zoom and in person.

About the Training
Who should attend:
You may apply to this training if you have NOT completed an initial Mandatory Legal Standards training
To qualify for this training, you must be working for a DMHAS-licensed substance abuse treatment facility and hold an LCADC or CADC.
This training satisfies the mandatory requirement for 2022 renewal application for all NJ CADC & LCADC as established by the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs. Partial credit is not issued.
Renewal Credit Information
To qualify for training and DMHAS scholarship, applicants must:
Hold one of the following credentials: LCADC or CADC
Be working in a DMHAS-licensed SUD treatment agency
Have the ability to focus & engage in entire virtual course as if time-off taken for an "in-person" training. This means you have access to a smart device or computer with access to internet, a camera, and microphone that can support zoom virtual platform.
