DAY 2 AM WORKSHOP
Building Resiliency & Community Through Sober Activities
The Phoenix is a unique nation-wide recovery community that helps those affected by substance use disorder learn the skills and disciplines to stay sober via activities and athletic training. Through pursuits such as climbing, hiking, running, strength training, yoga, road/mountain biking, socials and other activities, the program seeks to help members develop and maintain the emotional strength they need to continue to thrive in their life and recovery.
Through this presentation you will learn The Phoenix Model, how to create sober active community, and why it works. Additionally, we will provide an example of our mindfulness programming so participants can experience The Phoenix in action.
